Issue : School and Town ...Dialogue and Coordination

Marc Molinaro	I am a graduate of the Red Hook Central Schools. It is our school district that encouraged my community service and teachers like Tom Florio, Steve Sutton, Rich Walker and Dominick Bollela that inspired me to make a difference. I love our district and marvel at the caliber of education we provide our students. Our tax burden, however, is becoming unbearable. I will continue promoting an end to the property tax as the means of funding schools and education in our state. More can be done to support our parent-teacher relationships and organizations. I will continue fighting for school resource officer funding. We have a good school district with great teachers, committed parents and wonderful opportunities, working together to keep it that way while opposing unfunded mandates that drive up our taxes must remain the job of all of us.
